NORTHFIELD 240 – Double cutterhead straight planer. 2 hour cutterhead maintenance, automatic oiling, 4 knife drive belt.  (1979)

Machine Description:  NorthField Size 240, 24" width x 6"cap., 5" cutting circle 4 Knife Helical,  carbide cutterheads,  40 Hp top head-Belted, 30 Hp bottom head-belted,  56" distance between cutterheads,

Shortest stock 12", min. thickness 1/4", 5 Hp feed motor, 1 Hp raise and lower motor, Top and bottom grinder bars,  1/10 Hp grinder motor,  1.5 Hp bottom head striker motor, 4" dia. Feed rools,  Machine is on 220 volt 3 phase. 

MARION MODEL M RIP SAW – Straight line glue joint rip saw. Maximum stock thickness is 4”. A modern straight line glue joint ripsaw believed to be the finest available. (1973)

The Marion MODEL M Chain Feed, Straight Line, Glue Joint Rip Saw is equipped with either 10 H.P., 15 H.P., or 20 H.P. 220/440 or 550 volt, 60 cycle, 3 phrase, 3450 R.P.M., round frame, shaftless type motor mounted directly on the saw arbor. The feed motor is a separate 3 H.P., 220, 440 or 550 volt, 60 cycle, 3 phrase, four-speed, standard ball bearing motor. Other voltages and frequencies will be furnished to special order. Electrical equipment includes stop-start push button, four-speed drum controller for the feed motor, magnetic motor starting switches with thermal relays for overload or no-voltage protection, saw-pit door safety switch, with all wiring in flexible conduit. Standard equipment includes one 14” saw blade and two wrenches.
